The Ottawa Food Bank is the Ottawa Region’s central emergency food assistance organization. Through its 140 member agencies, the Ottawa Food Bank helps 43,000 individuals per month, 37 per cent of whom are children.

The Shepherds of Good Hope - Donation Site

"We served over 700,000 meals last year. We handed out groceries to 21,000 families last year. Every day over 1700 people go through our doors looking for groceries, clothing, shelter, a hot meal or a kind word. In 27 years we have never needed to pay a cook. Wonderful volunteers have always come to our rescue. Over 300 people are housed in our facilities each night. The people that we care for need so much and have so little and they come from all walks of life. They are people first and we will always see it that way."
