Alyssa Delle Palme

As a child, Alyssa was always found with a microphone in hand and dancing around the living room to music on the radio.

She grew up in Ottawa and after graduating from high school she traveled across the country to attend the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, B.C. It was there, Alyssa discovered the art of story telling and decided to pursue her passion for news at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ont.

She began her career as a small town reporter in Smithers, B.C. (Population 6,500). She enjoyed living up north, writing breaking news stories about backyard bear sightings and learning how to snowboard in the mountains. Alyssa wanted to experience life by the ocean on the east coast of Canada, so she once again packed up her microphone and moved across the country to Moncton, NB. She spent a few years living by the beach, enjoying lobster tails and working the morning shift on CFQM.

Now, Alyssa is happy to be back home in Ottawa and apart of the 101.9 DAWG FM team!
